HVAC Project Examples (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)
Combi Boiler Upgrade
We replaced this mid-efficient boiler and hot water heater with a high-efficiency Navien combi boiler. As shown, the selection of product to install wasn't our only challenge; we wanted to ensure the installation was thoughtfully planned and designed to ensure all piping, venting, and electrical wiring was streamlined and serviceable for efficiency and future maintenance.
Heat Pump Installation
We worked with our customer to ensure the right-sized heat pump was installed for the home's square footage, to ensure optimal operational efficiency and comfort for our customer. We always stay up to date on industry rebates, and so upon completion, we also provided our customer with information about how this Heat Pump qualified for rebates.
Napoleon Furnace Installation
We installed this top-quality Canadian-Made Napoleon Furnace. We saw an opportunity to add extra value for our customer, by upgrading the filter to 4" sizing for improved airflow and efficiency. This resulted in far quieter airflow in the duct work, making it easier for this customer to sleep at night.
Air Conditioner Installation
For this project, we provided an all-season comfort solution for our customer, with both a Furnace and Air Conditioning upgrade. The high-efficiency furnace we installed saves our customer money in the winter, and the Air Conditioner saves them money in the summer, by utilizing the existing forced air ducting, to ensure the whole home cools as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Furnace Installation
After we fixed a gas leak in this old unit, we discovered a key component of the furnace was cracked. We provided our customer with the latest furnace options available, and they decided to have us install a new Canadian-made Napoleon high-efficiency furnace, as shown on the right. The customer was surprised by how quietly the new furnace operated!
High-Efficiency Boiler and Indirect Water Heater Installation
This customer previously had a set-up that did not meet the usage needs in their home, and so we installed a high-efficiency Navien boiler, alongside a high-recovery indirect water heater. This configuration ensures our customer gets the hot water they need, on demand, reliably, with minimal energy costs.
When working with custom home finishings and high-quality fixtures, such as this free-standing tub and wall faucet, planning and execution of the installation needed to be precise to ensure a polished finish. Our customer was exceptionally happy with the outcome of this install, and the efficiency with which the work was completed.
Hot Water Tank Installation
This was a hot water tank replacement; however, the piping above the water heater needed to be cleaned up, and so we planned and installed the new copper piping to ensure maintainability and efficiency of the system moving forward. We also installed a new thermal expansion tank, instead of the old expansion valve, which is prone to leaking - reducing the risk of future floods for our customer.
The landscaping of this customer's home provided an additional challenge during the install, as the line needed to traverse a steep incline and rock wall. We worked with the customer to install this line in a secure and aesthetically pleasing way, whilst ensuring all access points and code requirements were met.
Underground Gas Line Installation
This customer built several rental cabins on their property, and wanted to ensure each had their own gas supply. We ran the lines for each cabin and ensured all were pressure tested, per code requirements.
Our attention to detail and consultative approach is also key to our successful projects with our commercial customers. We replaced a mid-efficient boiler and water heater with two high-efficiency Navien boilers, as well as an indirect water heater in this apartment building. This lowered operational costs and increased the domestic hot water capacity, to better meet our customer's needs.
Fire Suppression System
One of our Commercial Customers ran into a dilemma with these fire suppression sensing tubes in this commercial cold-storage facility. We designed, planned, and installed this copper work to allow them to temper the air returning into the sensors. This tempering ensured the sensors weren't damaged by any cold air, making the sensors more reliable and safer.
